Later this month, Music Tectonics is holding its online industry conference, but now there’s a pop-up event too. ‘Shock Before the Quake’ will take place on 20 October, with appearances from Union Square Ventures managing partner Andy Weissman; Midia Research MD Mark Mulligan; Instagram’s head of music Perry Bashkoff; and a panel on monetising fandom with Cameo, Fanaply and LavLabs. Access to the pop-up event will be part of a ticket for the main conference, which follows on 26-28 October.
